Recognised Maths & Science pathways.
SCC prioritises official national Olympiad pathways and also considers selected established Maths and Science competitions.
Official national Olympiad progression
These pathways receive the strongest academic weight because they represent formal progression toward national and international Olympiad selection.
Mathematical Olympiad pathway
Progression to the next official stage is treated more strongly than simply appearing in the first-stage examination.
Science Olympiad pathways
Advanced Indian National Olympiad and selection-camp stages receive premium consideration.
Established Maths & Science competitions
The exact rank/stage required for recognition is determined internally and may vary by competition structure.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan
State and national progression can be considered, with stronger recognition for advanced selection and national performance.
SOF Mathematics & Science
Selected school, zonal and international distinctions may qualify. Different medal/rank types are evaluated differently.
NSTSE
Recognised national-level Science/Maths ranks may be considered according to the approved internal band.
UIMO
Selected Mathematics distinctions may be considered based on verified rank and level.
SilverZone Maths & Science
Selected ranks or advanced-level distinctions may qualify under approved criteria.
Other recognised competitions
Students may submit another credible Maths/Science achievement for committee review even if it is not pre-listed.
Why exact reward cut-offs are not shown here.
Different competitions use different ranking systems, participation sizes and qualification structures. SCC therefore reviews the competition, stage, rank and proof together rather than publishing a simplistic one-line equivalence.
